France: August 2004

In late August 2004, I finally traveled to Paris, France. (Fun fact, Paris is the one city in the world I've wanted to visit so much I dreamt about visiting it for years in advance.)

We also took a detour down to Amboise and the chateaux of the Loire Valley for one night. What a gorgeous area-- next time, I'm going to spend more than one night there!

Finally, there's some pictures of the Octobass at Paris's Musee de la Musique. I first read about this gigantic instrument when I first started playing the Double Bass in 6th grade, and wanted to see one ever since... Awesome...
