David Yussen, fellow alumnus of the famed TP28, married a lovely woman, Christine, October 1, 2005. The wedding was out in Minneapolis, MN. These are my photos of that visit.
I'd never been to the American Midwest before. Flown over it many times, sure, but never actually experienced it. So, it was really great to finally see some of it for myself. I really didn't know what to expect out of Minneapolis; it turned out to be a really nice, clean, surprisingly hip city. Of course, it doesn't hurt that due to the wedding, it was a de facto Lehigh "Young Alumni" reunion, so an awful lot of fun was had.
The wedding and reception itself were lovely; very tasetfully done. I liked the Autumn wedding format: no sweating in a hot church; beautiful colors outside.
Then, we've got pictures of Minneapolis itself. I stayed on an extra day to check out the area. The city is cut in half by the Mississippi River, which is a really large river, even this close to its headwaters. Many of the pictures focus on the roughly one square mile area that contains a water fall, and thus many mills, right in the middle of Minneapolis itself. I could have spent much more than half of one day exploring this area.
