My mom mentioned how her grandfather/my great-grandfather died in a nearby mine while on the tour. The guide asked which one. She replied, in Locust Gap mine. He told us that Locust Gap is very close by, and in fact has the very same seams of coal running through it.

You could have heard a pin drop as that sunk in for everyone on the mine tour...
